Not being a dog owner, I’ve walked past many of the upscale dog boutiques and bakeries that have begun to dot the Philadelphia landscape over the past couple of years. I mean, I have cats, but I seriously doubt they’d be down with me dressing them in sweaters or giving them fancy kitty collars.

It seems that dog owners, though, are really rejoicing in the fact that they can now shop for Spike or Spot just the way they would shop for themselves. PetSmart may serve your practical pet needs but a whole new world of four-footed style is out there, including gourmet dog treats, custom designer beds, and even organic pet amenities.
